# Creative & Arts Discord servers

The Creative & Arts category brings together communities where people make things. It spans visual art (traditional, digital, drawing, animation and 3D modeling), music (listening, production and singing), photography, video editing, graphic design, and the creator economy (content creation, streaming, YouTube, Twitch and TikTok). Many creators belong to several of these at once, so tag pages link generously to neighbouring disciplines.

Creative communities are most valuable when they help you improve. When browsing, look for servers with critique or feedback channels, regular challenges and prompts, resource libraries and showcase spaces that celebrate progress at every level. If you sell your work, check whether a server has commission rules that protect both artists and clients. Activity stats on each listing help you find communities where feedback actually happens rather than sitting unanswered.

Reviewers focus on two things in this category: respect for creators and honesty. We reject servers that repost art without credit, resell stolen work, share pirated software, brushes, presets or plugins, or run "contests" that collect free work for commercial use. We also reject services that sell fake followers, views or engagement, which are common in creator spaces. Servers may allow or ban AI-generated content, but they must label it clearly.

If you are a creator looking for your people, pick one discipline tag and one platform or style tag, then join a server with a weekly challenge. Making something every week alongside others is one of the most reliable ways to grow.

Creators who list a server on DiscoListing get a per-signal score breakdown in their dashboard, which shows whether members are actually engaging with feedback channels and events, not just joining. It is a useful way to see which parts of a creative community are working.
