DiscoListing Terms of Service

The terms for using the directory, submitting listings and purchasing premium features.

Using the service

DiscoListing is operated by the DiscoListing team. These terms apply to the website, listing tools, embeds, API and directory bot. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our listing rules. If you do not agree, stop using the service. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You must meet the minimum age required by Discord and the laws that apply to you. Adult listings are only for people aged 18 or older who may legally access them. You must not misrepresent your age or bypass age restrictions. If you cannot legally enter this agreement independently, your parent or guardian must approve your use.

Accounts and listing ownership

Sign-in uses Discord. Protect your Discord account and any directory API keys, and tell staff if you suspect unauthorised access. Only submit or manage a server or bot when you have the required permissions. Server management permissions and bot application access may be checked again when you make changes.

Provide accurate descriptions, working invites and relevant tags. Names come from Discord. New bot submissions require Discord verification and proof of application-management access. Verification and a directory review do not guarantee that a bot or community is safe, reliable or suitable for you.

Staff review submissions and changes to published listings. The approved listing remains public while an edit awaits review; saving again replaces the open edit request. Approval is not guaranteed. Staff may request changes, reject an edit, restrict features or remove a listing under the rules.

Your content and public distribution

You keep the rights you have in your descriptions, images and other submissions. You must have permission to provide them. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, format and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote your listing through our website, search results, public API and embeds.

Public listings can be copied or indexed by third parties. Removing a listing does not immediately remove search-engine caches or independent copies. We may retain limited records for security, moderation, legal obligations and payment disputes as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use and integrations

Follow our listing rules and Discord policies. Do not manipulate votes, reviews, activity statistics or placement; evade bans or cooldowns; bypass verification; overload the service; harvest private data; or use the service for fraud, harassment or unlawful activity.

Use the API within its documented authentication and rate limits. Keep integration secrets private. Bot developers are responsible for their own commands, permissions, data practices and reported statistics. We may revoke keys or disable abusive integrations.

Premium, billing and cancellations

Prices, currency, taxes, billing period and available benefits are shown on the plan and checkout screens. A recurring subscription renews under the terms shown at checkout until cancelled. When payments are enabled, Polar handles checkout and billing under its applicable buyer terms.

The recorded payer can switch or cancel a subscription from their dashboard, and manage cards and invoices through the payment provider’s billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewal; premium stays on until the end of the period already paid for.

Refunds. You can ask for a refund of a payment within 3 days of that payment, whether it was the first payment or a renewal. After 3 days a payment is not refunded unless the mistake was ours: a duplicate or incorrect charge, premium that was paid for but never applied, or a listing we removed when you had not broken the rules. To ask, use “Request refund” next to that payment in the Billing tab of your dashboard and say why; you can also contact official support. A refunded payment ends the premium it paid for, and the money is returned by Polar to the original payment method. Refund and withdrawal rights required by applicable law remain available and are not limited by this section.

Premium does not guarantee approval, a particular rank, votes, members, installations or income. Paid benefits and placement effects are disclosed. Rules apply equally to paid listings. Features and prices may change; any changes to an existing subscription must follow the checkout terms and applicable notice requirements.

Moderation, restrictions and appeals

We may reject content or suspend accounts, listings and API access for rule violations, security risks, loss of management permissions or legal requirements. Serious safety concerns may require immediate action. Where appropriate, staff provide a reason and a way to request review through official support.

An appeal should identify the account or listing, explain the disputed decision and provide relevant evidence. Do not evade a restriction while an appeal is pending. A report or appeal does not guarantee reinstatement.

Third parties, availability and responsibility

Discord servers and listed bots are operated by third parties. Joining, installing or granting permissions is your decision. Review the operator, permissions and privacy practices before proceeding. DiscoListing is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.

We aim to provide a useful directory, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free information or third-party conduct. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from third-party listings or service interruptions. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes, disputes and contact

The date on this page identifies the latest update. Material changes will be communicated through the service where practicable. Contact official support with questions or disputes so we can attempt to resolve them. Applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections continue to apply; these terms do not require arbitration or waive them.

Contact and support

Use official support for questions, privacy requests, billing issues and appeals. Ask staff for a private conversation before sharing sensitive information; never post credentials or identity documents in a public channel.
