About Cartoons Discord servers

Cartoon communities on Discord celebrate Western animation in all its forms, from classic Saturday-morning shows to modern streaming series and adult animated comedies. Cartoon servers host episode discussions for current shows, fandoms for long-finished series that still inspire fan art and fan theories, nostalgia communities that revisit childhood favourites, and spaces for fans interested in how animation is made.

Look for servers organised by show or era, with spoiler policies for new episodes. Fan art channels should require credit and have clear guidelines about what content is appropriate, since many cartoon fandoms include younger fans. Nostalgia servers are at their best when members share context about when and where shows aired. Animation-focused discussions benefit from members who understand production, storyboarding and voice acting.

Staff at DiscoListing review each cartoon community before listing it. Because cartoon fandoms often include younger members, reviewers check that servers are moderated and age-appropriate. Sexual content involving characters who are minors is banned, and servers that tolerate it are rejected. Adult-oriented content about adult characters must be restricted to properly age-gated NSFW servers that users opt into. We also reject servers that distribute pirated episodes.

If you are rediscovering a show from your childhood, a nostalgia server can make it feel new again. Members often share behind-the-scenes facts, related shows you may have missed and where to watch legally today.

Related tags include Animation, Comics, TV Shows and Movies for overlapping fandoms and creative communities. If you draw, many cartoon fandoms run themed art weeks and character design challenges that are a fun way to practise and get noticed by other fans of the same show.
