About Comics Discord servers

Comics communities on Discord cover superhero universes, independent publishers, graphic novels and the people who make them. Comic servers host weekly release discussions for new issues, pull list sharing, collecting and grading communities, character and continuity deep-dives, and creator spaces for writers and artists making their own comics. Adaptation news from film and TV also drives plenty of discussion.

A good comics server organises by publisher or character and manages spoilers for new issues with clear windows. Collector communities should share advice on grading, storage and spotting counterfeits, while keeping any buying and selling within clear rules. Creator spaces are most valuable when they offer feedback on scripts and pages, advice on self-publishing and crowdfunding, and support from peers. Reading order guides are especially helpful for newcomers intimidated by decades of continuity.

DiscoListing staff look at every comics listing before it goes live. We reject servers that distribute pirated comics or scans of new issues, sell counterfeit collectibles or run unregulated auctions without protections for buyers. We also make sure creator communities do not exploit artists with unclear commission terms. Approved servers can be big publisher fandoms or small indie circles; ranking depends on activity, not size.

If you want to start reading comics but do not know where to begin, ask a server for a reading order. Members can suggest self-contained stories that introduce a character without requiring years of backstory.

Related tags include Manga, Webtoon, Cartoons and Marvel Rivals for communities that overlap with comic fandom. Local comic shop communities sometimes run their own servers too, which are great for hearing about signings and events nearby.
