About Final Fantasy XIV Discord servers

Eorzea runs on Discord. Free Companies organise their weekly schedules there, raid statics post their clear logs, and whole data centers keep community hubs where hunt trains, treasure maps and party finder groups are announced minutes before they happen. A Final Fantasy XIV server can be as small as eight friends working through the current savage tier or as large as a regional hub with tens of thousands of adventurers.

The best fit depends on what you do in the game. Raiders should look for servers that state their data center, their schedule and the level of commitment expected, because a midcore static and a week-one group want very different things from a recruit. Crafters and gatherers gather in market and macro communities. Housing fans share designs and plot alerts. Roleplayers have venue directories, with opening hours for player-run bars, cafes and theatres. Sprouts are well served too: mentor servers explain rotations and job quests without spoiling a story that many people consider the whole point.

Spoilers deserve a special mention. With more than a decade of story, a good community separates discussion by expansion and tags anything recent. Servers that ignore this lose new players quickly.

DiscoListing checks each Final Fantasy XIV listing by hand before it is published. We turn away servers built around real-money gil sales, paid raid carries advertised for cash, account sharing services or tools that break the game's terms, since those put members' accounts at risk of suspension. What remains is ranked by measured activity and by how many members stay, so a quiet Free Company page does not outrank a hub that is busy every reset day.

Combine this tag with LFG to find a group quickly, or with Roleplay if you are looking for a venue scene on your data center.

Final Fantasy XIV: frequently asked questions

Look for servers that name their data center and raid schedule, then check their recruitment channel. Most ask for your job, your availability and your experience with the current tier.

No. Real-money gil sales, paid carries and account sharing break the game’s rules and can get members suspended, so those servers are rejected.

Well-run servers split discussion by expansion and require spoiler tags. Check the channel list and rules before you scroll if you are still playing through the story.

For raiding and Free Companies, usually yes, or at least the same region. General chat, crafting and theorycrafting communities welcome players from anywhere.
