Common questions

How do I make text bold or italic in Discord?
Put two asterisks on each side for bold, one for italics and three for both. Two underscores underline, and two tildes strike through.
How do I hide text as a spoiler?
Put two vertical bars on each side, like ||this||. Readers see a dark block until they click it.
How do I post code in Discord?
Wrap a short piece in single backticks. For a block, put three backticks on the line before and after, and add a language name after the opening ones for syntax colors.
